AD | Aff links. I went through a phase of barely caring about my skincare a little while back but as I get ever closer to 30, I feel like I need to start caring again! I have three products I now use daily (not including face wash!) and I feel so much better for now being in a regular routine again.
Drops of Youth Bouncy Jelly Mist
Now rebranded as Edelweiss (but I still have the old packaging) I received this face mist in my Starter Kit when I rejoined The Body Shop at Home. I'd used it before and absolutely loved it so I was thrilled when I saw it in my kit. This mist hydrates your skin with 24 hour moisture and helps protect it from the effects of pollution and blue light. That's the main reason I use it - as a blogger and phone-a-holic I'm virtually constantly in front of blue light and feel like the protection is just what I need. I use my glasses to protect my eyes from blue light pollution so why not my face?!
Vitamin E Day Cream
I keep coming back to this one! Although to be fair, this was also in my kit. I do absolutely love this cream though and I think I will continue to buy it. Its lightweight, suitable for sensitive skin like mine and has anti-ageing properties.
Skin Defence Multi-Protection SPF50+ Lotion
We've all seen it haven't we? The photo of the 90-odd year old woman who used SPF on her face but not her neck? Yep, that one. That one terrified me and I immediately ordered a new Skin Defence SPF cream! It turned out I did still have one hiding in a drawer but at least it means I won't run out any time soon! I use it every day now - yes, even when it's raining! I take it to work with me too so I can top up throughout the day.
