We Bought a House!

We did it! We finally bought a house! I honestly never expected this one to be one of my top five items I tick off my 30 by 30 bucket list but my amazing fiancé made it happen. We are officially homeowners at the ages of 26 and 24. Who would have thought it?

We only officially started looking and viewing houses in June, and after several rejections I was honestly starting to believe it would be another year before we would find one to buy. But then this gorgeous house popped up in the area we wanted and a few days after putting our offer in, it was ours!

This has honestly been the hardest secret to keep, our offer was accepted in July and we got the keys in the middle of September. As you can see, we had a lot of work to do on it! It was previously owned by an old lady so a lot of the decor was outdated - and very questionable! Although there was some flowery wallpaper in the hallway that I absolutely loved but it was peeling off so we couldn't keep it.

We're still working on it now so I'm excited to bring more homey content your way! I'm also excited for the housewarming party we can eventually have.
