Bullet Journal VS Binder & Binder Tour

I used to have a love-hate relationships with bullet journals! I loved the idea behind them and tried multiple types of layouts, notebooks and themes to try and make it work for me but I just couldn't make it work! Eventually I'd end up wasting pages upon pages because I'd dated the book for the whole month or even year and then didn't even use it! So now, I use a binder.

I bought an A5 binder from Amazon and also bought refills, page separators and post it notes. If I remember rightly it all came to around £30. Maybe a bit excessive for a glorified notebook but it works well for me!

At the front I have all my usual stuff; yearly goals, my 30 by 30 bucket list and my wishlist. I also added the Wiccan Wheel of the Year in that section so I can always quickly check which Sabbat is coming next! The following section is my monthly stuff, where I add my goals for the month, master To Do list, budget, daily habit tracker and my daily to do list if I'm inclined to do it.

Then it's onto Christmas! I have a list of people I need to buy for, my budget and present ideas. Obviously I haven't included what I've bought, juuust in case one of them finds my blog before Christmas! Fingers crossed they don't.

I also have a section dedicated to minimalism where I make notes of everything I've decluttered, plus minimalism quotes I like etc.! The point of it was to make notes towards minimalist blog posts but I just never seem to get round to writing them! I'm sure I will this month though.

Towards the back is more random notes. For example, I have an Animal Crossing to do list but I haven't played in so long! I'm not going to get rid of it though in case I decide to pick it up again. I also have my tattoo wishlist written down with plans of colours, size and placement.

The very last section is where I keep all my previous months budget tracking.

I absolutely love using the binder, I'm wasting less paper, I can move pages to where I need them to be and I don't feel the need - or - pressure to make it pretty! I'm so glad I started doing this, I feel much better about it and it means less notebooks taking up space!

Do you still use a bullet journal or do you think a binder would work better for you? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
