The Body Shop Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Care Review

Late last year, I treated myself to the brand new hair care range for curly girls from The Body Shop. I've spent the last few months giving it a try and now it's review time!

In case you haven't read my haul post, I ordered the Cleansing Conditioner, Intense Moisture Mask, Curl Activator and Leave-in Conditioner. The products smell absolutely gorgeous and are of course vegan!  They're also sulphate free and are made with Jamaican Black Castor Oil (obviously,) Shea Butter and vegan keratin protein! All good stuff.

So, here is a photo of my hair before I started using JBCO. I was previously using a Shea butter shampoo (with sulphates) and an avocado and mango conditioner that felt way too heavy for my hair. Smelt gorgeous though!

Since regularly using the JBCO range, I've seen a huge improvement in my curls and have a Good Hair Day most days! Plus the range smells so gorgeous, I often get Josh telling me my hair smells really good. The intense moisture mask and leave in curl conditioner leave my hair feeling silky soft as well - my hair has literally never been in such good condition!

My favourite product from the range is easily the Curl Activator. I love scrunching it into my wet or damp hair and literally seeing the curls forming!

Until next time,
Saph x

  1. I would need something like this for my hair! It's in better condition than it's ever been, but I feel like it could do with a bit more TLC.
