Romance Novels Charity Shop Haul

Josh and I went to our local Cancer Research charity shop recently, and I had a browse through the books. I didn't actually intend on buying anything, as I subscribe to Kindle Unlimited, already have a decent amount of books and haven't actually read a book since early December. But you know, sh*t happens!

I only found two books I liked the sound of, which was just as well as they were 2 for £1. Josh actually picked one Just Haven't Met You Yet for me. They both turned out to be romance books! I usually come away with thrillers but I'm really feeling the romantic genre lately, and can't wait to cosy up in the most romantic month of the year.

The Longest Holiday, Paige Toon

"Ever wished summer could last a lifetime?
Laura has been married to the man of her dreams for seven months. But a week before the wedding, Matthew made a terrible mistake.
Escaping the humiliation that is now her marriage, Laura is whisked off to Florida's Key West by her best friend Marty. A carefree holiday full of cocktails and fun is exactly what the doctor ordered.
Distraction comes in the form of sexy Cuban scuba diver Leo. Laura's instant attraction to him knocks her flying, and she falls hard. But as the end of the holiday approaches, Laura doesn't want to go home. Is it time to face the music? Or is there more to Key West than a holiday romance?"

Just Haven't Met You Yet, Sophie Cousens
"Laura has built a career out of interviewing people about their epic real-life love stories.
When she picks up the wrong suitcase at the airport, she wonders if this could be the start of something that's written in the stars.
From piano sheet-music to a battered copy of her favourite book, Laura finds in the bag evidence of everything she could hope for in a partner.
I Laura's job has taught her anything it's that when it comes to love, you can't let opportunity pass you by.
But what if fate has other ideas?

Okay, I had no idea that both books have the main character called Laura until I wrote up this post. WEIRD. I honestly can't decide which one I want to read first! I'm dying to find out what Matthew did but I also want to know how the mystery suitcase owner is! Which one would you read first?

Until next time,
Saph x
