It's Christmas eve already! Who is ready to start the celebrations? Today I'm off to see my family, take Charlie to his dad's house (sob) and start drinking.
When I started my job - two weeks ago already! - they were all talking about when they were doing the secret santa swap. Naturally, I assumed I wasn't getting anything as I wasn't there for the name swap. So, imagine my surprise when I turn up for my shift on Tuesday and was given gifts! I was so shocked and immediately felt bad that I didn't have anything to give back.
Nobody admitted to getting me the gifts but I have a sneaky suspicion that I know who it was. I was given a gorgeous pink candle that has a sweet, floral scent and an Echo Falls white zinfandel gift set with a wine glass and two Guylian chocolates - yum!
Everyone was also given a hot chocolate cone, a tiny bottle of Baileys and a Christmas cookie. This was actually my first ever work secret santa and it was so lovely to be included when I wasn't expecting it!
I'm seriously feeling so honoured to be a part of this team, I absolutely love them.
