Weekly Budget Recap | 26th August - 1st September

I started doing a weekly budget round up (for the most part) in July, and it really opened my eyes to how much I spend in a week! It really disgusted me to be honest, so hopefully I can control my spending better this month!

September Budget

So, I completely forgot to actually keep track of my spending last month - oops! All I know is that I paid my bills, paid for Charlie's school stuff for September and treated myself to new bras I needed desperately needed from Shein. My cash budgeting didn't go so great as I automatically used my card a few times. But the good news is I have some cash left over!

August Recap & September Goals

August has actually been such a great month for me! It begun with me being on a beautiful holiday in Devon, I've had tons of time to myself, I got a pay rise, I've been exercising more. I also started binge watching House again and I've been loving a regular dose of Hugh Laurie. Don't get me wrong, I've definitely still had some difficult moments this month, but overall - not too shabby!

AD|Gifted. It's only over the last couple of years that I've started to get into poetry and feel like I could somewhat understand it. The Seeker offered me a copy of their poetry in exchange for a review - I couldn't say no! I love discovering more poets.

Shein Fitness Haul

As well as updating my summer wardrobe, I also decided it was time to update my fitness and exercise gear. Back to Shein I went!

AD | Gifted. It's nearly time for the kids to return to school and you know what that means - time to name all the new school uniform! Always a fun job. Thankfully, Trodat kindly gifted me their Stamp 'N Stick kit, aptly called the FUNctional way to mark all belongings! 

Shein Summer Haul

I've been feeling really low about my wardrobe lately, and didn't really have anything suitable for the crazy heatwave! After a chat with a colleague, I decided to raid Shein and see what I could find myself. I  have only had one item from Shein before and I absolutely love it so I was hoping to have some luck this time. Spoiler: I did! I have made three orders with Shein since! With my first order, I had £104 worth of items in my basket by the time I was done. Thankfully, Shein gives members vouchers so I got my basket down to £81 which was an absolute dream. Time to see what I ordered!

Camping in Devon | Photo Diary

I have officially been camping! As an adult anyway, I'm sure I went camping as a child but I don't remember it...either way, it's one more thing ticked off my 30 by 30 bucket list! 

Josh, Charlie and I went camping with Josh's mum, stepdad, 3 of Josh's siblings and their partners. We stayed in Totnes, Devon at ..... We left at 6:30am which was a bit of shock to mine and Charlie's system! How we both stayed awake during the 4 hour trip I do not know. It was a bit disappointing when we got there, as Josh's idea of camping is in the middle of the woods. That being said, it wasn't a terrible place to camp, and it was definitely family friendly.

August Exercise Routine & Plans

I'm back at it again! Time to buck up my ideas and get fit. It's been a while since I've intentionally tried to exercise - I last did yoga in May! I just really want to live a healthier lifestyle and feel better about myself.

August Budget

July was a bit of a spendy month! I ended up spending lots of money with The Body Shop, Studio and Shein. I also had some ASDA and Amazon gift cards to use, and sold some bits so I had some extra money to see me through last month!
