August Exercise Routine & Plans

I'm back at it again! Time to buck up my ideas and get fit. It's been a while since I've intentionally tried to exercise - I last did yoga in May! I just really want to live a healthier lifestyle and feel better about myself.

Weighted Hula Hoop

I've been getting adverts on my TikTok for the weighted hula hoops again so I've dug mine out again to start using it! I'm going to aim for 30 minutes of hooping on my days off.

6,000 Daily Steps
I joined a Samsung Health walking challenge in July, but because of the phone ban at work, I failed miserably because I couldn't track all of my steps! Instead, this month I'm just going to keep my fitness watch charged and rely on that to track my steps! I'm aiming for a minimum of 6,000 steps a day, which means I need to walk to or from work (unless I'm on a 15 hour shift) or make sure I get out for a walk on my days off!

Meal Plans
I also want to try and plan my meals for work better so I can take healthier meals in and not rely on takeaways so often! I also need to drink more water, I've been drinking only Vimto and Coke Zero for too long now.

I'm going to try and track my progress in my binder and also try to update on here every week or two how I'm getting on. I bought myself some new workout clothes from Shein and I'm so excited to try them on and get working out!
