April Recap & May Goals

April has been a fun month. I have been ill for the majority of it; probably due to overdoing it at work! That being said, even though I've been exhausted, I really enjoyed my glamping holiday. It was so nice to spend proper quality time with my family and I got to see them again a week later at my nephews 2nd birthday!

My First Glamping Holiday

It's official! I can now tick "go glamping" off my 30 by 30 bucket list! I've just come back from a 3 night stay in the Wheatfields Luxury Glamping with Josh, Charlie, my mum, stepdad, two older sisters, brother-in-law, two nieces, my nephew and three dogs! Whew, lucky there were three tents, eh?

April Budget

I majorly overspent in March so April is the time for a budget overhaul. Payday brought in £1,235.88 for April and I'm aiming to save as much as possible. I have noticed that I'm usually left with between £200-£400 by the end of the month which actually is pretty reasonable, but I'd love to be able to keep more in my current account this month. That being said, I am starting to plan Charlie's birthday party this month, which isn't going to be cheap.

March Recap & April Goals

Another month of 2022 down already, I can't believe how quickly it's going! March has been an interesting month. I went to a funeral, done some more training courses for work, enjoyed a drive to Brighton for the first time (and a drive straight back) and even did some socialising outside of work!

My Ostara Altar

I finally have an altar! Over the last ten years of studying Wicca, I have never had the space for an altar but this year I decided it was time to have one - even if it is just a mini one.

An Overdue Haircut | Being More 'Me'

The plan on making myself feel more like 'me' is coming together! In my last Being More 'Me' post I was discussing my hair colour and had dyed my hair brown again. It didn't take long for the colour to fade back to orange again though! So I am officially giving up on brown and will stick with the Tangerine Twist - I do love it and it really suits me! It's  just a pain having to colour my roots so often...

Money Saving Challenges I'm Doing in 2022

I'm all about saving money this year. 2022 is the year of being frugal! Kind of. I'm not perfect, but I'm trying. Anyway, here are the four money saving challenges I'm currently attempting.

Low Spend February | How I Did

My first "low spend" month is complete! In case you haven't already read my February Budget post, I got out £200 in cash and £50 in vouchers to spend for the entirety of the month. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite stick to my cash-only budget.

February Recap & March Goals

Well, February has certainly been an interesting month. I welcomed two new babies this month! My niece from Joshs sister, and Charlie's baby brother from his Dad and his girlfriend! Charlie is so excited about being a big brother and I'm loving having another niece to spoil. Unfortunately, in the same week, we also had to say goodbye to Charlie's Great Nan on his Dads side. I didn't get to see her so often anymore but it's so weird to think she isn't around anymore!

Colour B4 | Being More Me

Part one of "being more me" in 2022! The first thing I decided to tackle was my hair. Even though I didn't publish my Be More Me (part 3) post until this January, I actually had it written in December and had already purchased two boxes of Colour B4 hair colour remover. I was absolutely terrified and had no idea what to expect.
