May Goals 2021

I'm sure I say this every month but April absolutely flew by! I had two birthdays to celebrate this month - my mums and my nephews - and they totally snuck up on me! Thankfully I was more prepared for my mums but good old Amazon came to my rescue for my nephews. Although I was totally devastated that I couldn't celebrate with them, especially as it was my nephews first birthday.



April did not go to plan, at all. Although the Easter break was really lovely, I barely exercised, which means I didn't lose any weight and I didn't eat very well either. Although I'm completely putting that down to my mental health being a tad unhealthy for three weeks straight. As well as my physical health, actually, my body has been very unhappy this month.

I am really looking forward to May though. Beltane a.k.a May Day starts tonight until tomorrow and I'm really excited to celebrate! Plus it'll be mine and Josh's two year anniversary on the 12th! I can't believe we've only been together for two years, it feels like longer than that! Feels like we should be in our own house and married by now.

May Goals

Clever Fox Budget Planner
I set up my budget planner for this month and now I really need to stick to using it! I am currently still up to date with it since I published a blog post about it and I'm quite proud of that.

British Sign Language Course
I still haven't touched my BSL course since February! I can remember most of the alphabet but past that I can't remember much. I really need to spend a day refreshing my memory and then from then I want to do a section at least once a week. Especially now I've added it to my CV, I really need to stick with it...

Read
I challenged myself to read at least one book in April but I actually managed to read three books in the last week! I am officially out of my reading slump. I have two books in mind already that I want to read over May.

Exercise
I'm really enjoying using my fitness TikTok account to keep me motivated for exercising! I also invested in a weighted hula hoop to get me moving. I can't seem to stick to "reps" of "sets" in workouts so I've had to find other ways to keep me exercising without getting bored.
