We're now halfway through the Summer holidays! Although I use the word "summer" lightly...the weather has been giving the majority of us autumn vibes I'm sure. I'm currently curled up on the sofa in a comfy jumper! Just need a nice hot chocolate and fluffy socks now...
After publishing my Summer To Do List post I actually checked online to see how much Charlie's school uniform was going to cost. It's lucky I did because it had to be ordered by the end of that week! We could have gone into the shop but as I'd already added it all to my basket, I ordered it there and then. All that was left to get was his P.E. shorts which we found a 2 pack of in ASDA for a fiver (£7.99 for one pair in the school shop!) and P.E. plimsolls. Unfortunately none of it has arrived yet
We cracked on with sorting through Charlie's toys while he was on holiday, and I'd say we got rid of around 40%. Not as much as I had hoped but still a decent amount! He didn't actually get many toys for his birthday this year either so thankfully the 40% wasn't immediately replaced.
I managed to fill a box of Charlie's clothes to donate to the nursery but it did make me realise that he needs more trousers and long sleeved tops. Not to mention pants and socks. I've got some shopping to do!
We are currently staying at my Mums, and we went to the Rare Breeds Centre with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew yesterday! We were only there for a few hours but it was so lovely, and Charlie loved it. I'll be posting a photo diary soon - Josh took tons of gorgeous photos. It's so nice to be back at Mums for the week, I'm excited to see what we're going to get up to this week!
