Hello November 2020

November already, can you believe it?! I certainly can't! It's Christmas next month and I'm in no way shape or form ready for it. Feels like we've only just had 2019 Christmas! I am also now officially 25. Half way to 50 as my friend kindly keeps pointing out...I just can't believe I'm going to be 30 in five years time - time to crack out the 30 by 30 bucket list?!

October Goals Recap

Have the best birthday possible
I absolutely did! I spent the morning with my Mum and stepdad so I got to open my presents from them, then I went home to open my presents from my in-laws, Josh, Charlie and some friends that had sent me gifts! Then Josh took me out for dinner to his favourite restaurant. Can you believe we've been together for a year and a half and that's the first time we've been to a restaurant just us two?! It was perfect, I loved it so much!

Learn to ride my bike
I didn't even get on my bike once in October. There was a lot going on and the weather was a bit rough a lot of the time! I'm a bit disappointed, but it can't be helped.

Spending ban
Well, I kind of saw this one through. Not including food, I did spend less than £30 on myself! I was still hocus brokus by the end of the month but I did splurge on some toy storage and a dining table for Charlie!

Be more...me
I'm definitely still trying to figure out what kind of aesthetic I want to go for. I never got to the hairdressers so my hair is still a mess, I haven't lost enough weight yet to warrant a shopping trip. I've mostly spent the last few weeks creating a "Style Inspo" board on Pinterest. But, I didn't expect to have a full change before my 25th, so the best time to change is now!

Celebrate Samhain
I did go to visit my Dad's grave a couple weeks ago. I bought him some fresh flowers and lit a candle while I spoke to him. I had a damn good cry too.
I did intend to wear all black on Samhain and write a letter to Dad and burn it, but I ended up having such a fun day with the in-laws that I totally forgot! Josh says black underwear and black jeans counts so... jury's still out on this one.

November

I have actually really struggled to give myself any goals for this month, so it may have to be a go-with-the-flow kind of month! I definitely want to continue with the spending ban where possible. I did get some spending money for my birthday so I have a bit to treat myself with, but I want to save as much money as possible for Christmas, and Josh's birthday.

I also want to try and keep up blogging regularly this month, but I'm not going to force myself! I think I'll just see where this month takes me.

Do you have any goals for November? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,
Saph x
