Project Pan 2026

Project Pan has been a popular method for people to use up their extensive makeup collection for many years now. I don't know why it's a trend when people should be using up their products to completion anyway but whatever, no judgement here! I don't personally use makeup that much, I only do a full face of makeup for events so I don't own an excessive amount anyway! I'm doing Project Pan my own way this year.

I have quite an extensive collection of other various things, whether they're items I've bought myself or received as gifts. As my birthday isn't until October and we've just had Christmas, I have a good 10 months before I have to worry about being gifted any more of the following, and my No/Low Buy year should help me from collecting anymore!

Perfumes & Body Mists
I currently have 6 perfumes and 4 body mists! I did have 9 perfumes before I decided to do project pan but I decided I didn't like 3 of them anymore so off they went!

1. Ariana Grande Mod
I've been using this one on a daily basis for the last 6 months or so and it's already roughly half empty and I'm actually going to be so sad when it's gone! I absolutely love this scent and I always get compliments on it.

2. Artiscent Atelier Cherry Noir
This one was an impulse buy from Superdrug for a tenner. It's a heavier scent than some of my others but I love it. It's not one a tend to reach for very often these days, so I'm either going to end up loving it more, or decluttering it.

3. YSL Black Opium Over Red
This one is my favourite for evening events where I have to dress up a bit. I last wore it to my cousins wedding back in October and big events like that are going to be far and few between next year so to make any progress I will have to start wearing it day-to-day. I've already had it a year and barely made any progress on it!

4. Paco Rabanne Fame
This one ended up being my wedding day perfume. I regret buying it every day because it cost me £60 I didn't really have spare and the scent wears off really quickly. Josh said he didn't even smell it on me on our wedding day and rarely smells it if I decide to wear it. I did think about saving it as it's still a special one but honeslty I might just use it up and save the bottle in our memory box as it's pretty.

5. Eilish by Billie Eilish
This is my absolute favourite of the bunch! This is the one that should have been my wedding day perfume as before "Mod" I wore it constantly and Josh absolutely loves it. The scent lasts all day and is very "me." Ironically every time I do wear this one I think of my wedding day more than when I wear Fame!

6. Jimmy Choo Flash
Flash is my newest addition; I received this one for my 30th birthday! I used to have a little sample sized bottle and I loved it, I was so happy to get it for my birthday. It's been my main scent over Christmas and I love it, reminds me of baby powder.

My body mists are Superdrug's own Caramel & Pistachio which I really love, I have bought the shower gel version a few times! I also have So..? Vanilla Milkshake. For Christmas, Josh gave me The Body Shop's You're my Jam and You, Me & Bubble Tea. I tend to keep these in my work bag and give myself a spritz when I feel like I need it. I tend to use mists in the summer more than any other season though, so these will probably be mostly full until then!
The aim for this Project Perfume Pan is to really end up with 1-3 signature scents to repurchase over and over again. I'm currently thinking Mod, Eilish and Over Red but we shall see!

Candles
I'm sure I have more than this but I can currently find eight candles. I don't need eight candles at once! I want to get through them all this year.

Body Lotion
I honestly thought I had more body lotion than I do! I must have already decluttered a lot of them this year. I have one that's nearly empty, and two more bottles of different brands/scents. I also received a body butter for Christmas so that's being included here too. I am absolutely rubbish for remembering to use it though so I'm determined to look after my skin this year!

Hair/Face/Feet Masks
I have an embarrassing amount of masks that I've collected over the last year or so. All it means is more self care days for me in 2026!
3 hair masks
2 lip masks
10 face masks
3 eye masks
6 foot masks

Books
Can books count in Project Pan? I'm counting them. I currently own 32 books, not including the ones on my Kindle. I'm not going to list all of them right now - this post is long enough as it is! But I will definitely be making an effort to get through them this year, and sell or donate once I'm done with them. I might also start my Reading Savings Goal again! I had a good £76 saved up but ended up needing it and never saved - or read - again.

Hand Cream
I currently own four hand creams, at least three of them are already partly used. Working in care and having to constantly wash my hands have my hands very dry lately, and they say that the hands are first to age so I need to start looking after them more!

2026 is certainly shaping up to be a self-care year. I probably have tons more I could add to my project pan so keep an eye out for updates!

Are you doing a Project Pan this year? Let me know in the comments if you are and what you're planning on using up!

Until next time,
Saph x
