February "Fun Money" Budget | Low Buy Year

It's pay day! I'm really hoping to spend significantly less this month than I did in January. Obviously the ideal would be £0 spent but there's a few things I know I really need to buy this month. I'm going to budget myself £150. Again, not including food, gifts, or travel to work. Although I should only have to get a taxi once this month.

Wishlist
Mascara (up to) £10
The Ordinary Hair Oil £20
Socks for Charlie £20 (estimated price, socks are so expensive now!)
Cotton Underwear £15
A5 binder £10.99

I also have another Klarna payment coming out this month for a Temu order I didn't include in my last low buy post. As it wasn't coming out until after my next pay day, it made more sense to save it for this one. I'm making something for a friend's birthday and I needed some extra supplies which cost a cool £26.35. I'm including this in my "fun money" budget!

I do want to do some baking this month, my friend has requested blueberry bread (think banana bread but with blueberries) so I need to buy some loaf tins! I'm going to budget £20 for the ingredients. Blueberries are expensive guys.

I'm really hoping to be able to control myself a bit better this month, especially now I have a holiday to save up for! I've already been eyeing up more clothes on Vinted - which are very quickly selling - so we'll see if I'll be able to resist. I'll be aiming to put £150 in my Monzo account and get the debit card working again so I can pay straight from there. Ideally I want to have some money left over at the end of the month so I can put the leftovers into savings!

I have also made myself a monthly budget in Google Sheets, which I have on my laptop and my phone, so I can adjust it where-ever I am. I'm also planning on getting some bits listed on Vinted so I can make some extra money!

Are you doing a low buy year? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
Saph x
