A few months ago, I was after some magazines to read and while I was in ASDA I spotted Breathe magazine. I love anything to do with wellness and mindfulness, and the imagery on the magazines were so lovely that I needed to take them home with me.
Unfortunately I never got round to reading them until last week! Josh was at work, Charlie was at school and I was at home, ill. I was in desperate need of some self care and what's better than reading a magazine dedicated to self care and self improvement?
I absolutely adore the imagery within these magazines. They're so beautiful and calming. I really love some of the articles as well. These magazines cover everything from work life, home life, dreams, recipes and even eco-friendly options.
My favourite article is Take Three Days by Leah Larwood, where they discuss a "wellness sabbatical." A wellness sabbatical is where you take three days to really and truly focus on yourself and your needs. I need a sabbatical at least once a month to keep my sanity in check, and I may just start taking one. Also, just look at that imagery! I'm strongly tempted to rip it out and frame it.
My next favourite article is The Joy of Newness by Kiran Sidhu. I am a big believer in new experiences and how important it is to be excited about things in adulthood. It's so easy to get stuck doing the same things all day every day, but it's also easy to shake things up!
I am extremely tempted to sign up for the subscription to these magazines, I do feel they would bring me a lot of joy. But there's also something quite satisfying about buying a new magazine straight from the shop...
Is there a particular magazine you love reading? Tell me about it in the comments!
Until next time,
Saph x
