December Goals

Wow, December already, I can't believe it! November was a wild month, full of ups and downs. I'm so excited to see what December brings.

November Goals Recap

Move into our House
We have officially been in our house for about a week and a half! It's been an interesting time, they say that buying a house is one of the most stressful times of our lives and we both admitted to feeling like housemates rather than a loved up couple. Although that has since been rectified and we're much happier now!

Declutter
We did manage to get rid of a few bags of stuff before we moved but I wouldn't say I'm completely satisfied with how it worked out!

Finish Buying Christmas Gifts
I actually didn't finish buying gifts in November because of my work schedule and only having cash to spend on it, I just didn't get the time to go shopping. I'm probably over half done now though so after a day at Bluewater I should be done and ready to wrap!

Read
I'm pleased to say I did read Autum Skies Over Ruby Falls and it was such a lovely romantic read, I loved it! I do wish I'd read it in October though, as it was fully based around Halloween.
I also managed to start Big Chicas Don't Cry before the end of the month but I'm struggling to fully get into it so far.

December Goals

Enjoy Christmas in our first home
I finally received my rota for Christmas and I'm pleased to say I get Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and the majority of Christmas Day off work! I'm so pleased I get to spend Christmas morning with my boys in our own home. Josh and Charlie have already decorated the lounge for Christmas too so once the gifts are bought and wrapped, we can truly get into the Christmas spirit.

Finish Reading Big Chicas Don't Cry
As I said above, I'm struggling to get into it but my dear sweet Charlie accidentally paid for this book so I'm determined to read it and get my moneys worth! Plus it's book 30 which means I'll have hit my reading goal for the year and my savings goal (£1 saved for every book read.)

Blog More
My blog took a bit of a hit last month due to moving but now we're a bit more settled, I'm planning tons of content again! I almost didn't renew my domain this year but I have missed blogging, and I think I'd be sad if I didn't keep my little corner of the internet.

Until next time,
Saph x

  1. Experiencing first Christmases in new homes is always a lovely experience! My husband and I moved to a new rental apartment in April so it will be our first one in this particular home — this has made me look forward to it even more. Wishing you all the best for the month ahead!
