The Body Shop Haul & First Impressions

I honestly can't remember the last time I used a product from The Body Shop. I remember going to my local store with a friend for my birthday one year, but once that shut down I rarely thought about The Body Shop again. I've seen more people talking about it lately, so I decided to treat myself and ordered some bits!

Mini masks

I decided to get a couple of the smaller pots of face masks, just in case I didn't get on with them. I didn't want loads of product left to try and get rid of one way or another. So I bought the 15ml pots of the Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing mask, and the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow mask.

I absolutely love the matcha tea mask, it smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling so soft after. It also seems to reduce the amount of oil I produce - despite that not actually being one it's selling points! This mask is aimed at acne/blemished skin, and while I've never had acne, I'm definitely noticing less blackheads and smaller pores after using this mask.

The charcoal mask is aimed at oily/blemished skin and uses green tea and tea tree oil. I absolutely love charcoal masks and spent most of teens using tea tree oil products, so the two-in-one of this mask was a dream come true. Once again, my face felt soft, well exfoliated and definitely less oily after just one use.

These are both masks I will definitely be purchasing again!

Face mist

There are a few to choose from but the Rose Dewy Glow face mist caught my attention the most. They all do the same thing - hydrate - but the rose one also illuminates the skin.

I honestly haven't noticed a difference in the illumination but I absolutely adore this face mist. It smells beautiful, rose essence, cherry water and raspberry is the scent, and moisturises my face and lips nicely. I've used it virtually every day since it arrived, and have actually been using it in place of my usual face moisturiser and lip balm - especially on the hotter days as I'll use it multiple times.

I absolutely love this mist, but I think I fancy trying the strawberry scented one next!

Hair mask

I haven't had my hair cut since January and my hair has been feeling pretty dry and had split ends for days. I have been changing up my shampoo and conditioner lately to help, but I never can resist a new hair mask to try. I decided to get the Shea butter one. I absolutely love Shea butter, have done for years. The mask smells so so good. It leaves my hair feeling so soft, and works best when used with the Shea butter shampoo and conditioner.

All of the products listed are also vegan 🌿

Until next time,
