40 New Things in 40 Days | Days 23-30

Another day, another thing! I'm loving this challenge.

Day 23: The Bathroom Cabinet

Mum knew all about this challenge, so she decided to set up something for me. She bought herself a new bathroom cabinet for the caravan, and told me I had to put it together for her. So I did.

It took me about two hours, I had to stop to give Charlie lunch, and I broke the bloody thing but I did it! It really should have only taken me 10-20 minutes but you know...no sexist comments please.

Day 24:
I want to say I did something on this day but I'm writing this late and I honestly can't remember. This probably means I didn't so...I suck at this challenge.

Day 25: Shopping & a Walk
If you remember in part one of my 40 days series, I have pretty bad anxiety when it comes to going anywhere alone. I just hate it, hate everything about it and it doesn't matter if it's the first time I go, or the hundredth time, if I have to go alone, I get anxious. Well, this day, I needed to do some more grocery shopping and I didn't really have any choice but to go alone. Except I had Charlie with me of course, but babies don't really count as company in this sense.
For the first time in a really long time, I didn't even THINK about what I was doing, and just went. I just walked to Tesco like it was no big deal (as I should always walk anywhere) until I actually got to the crossing. Then I started to panic. But once I actually stepped into the building and started to look for what I need, I was fine. I literally can't remember the last time I was that chilled out about anything. I even went to The Range to pick up some extra bits straight after. Charlie fell asleep on the way to The Range, and as I didn't want to risk waking him up going home, I got Mum to meet me at the door and take the shopping in, and I continued walking. I soaked up lots of lovely sun, got some fresh air, exercise and made an effort to combat my anxiety. I ended the day feeling pretty damn proud of myself to be honest.

Day 26: A Day of Reading
Once again, I just didn't get to do anything new. Although I did get to read quite a lot which I very much enjoyed!

Day 27: Skin Wars: Fresh Paint
I'm a huge fan of RuPaul, so once I'd caught up with Drag Race on Netflix, I decided to check out Skin Wars. I was immediately obsessed, although disappointed with the lack of RuPaul. It's also really made me want to give body painting a try! I'm no artist but it seems like fun! Maybe I can find some non-toxic paint and paint Charlie...

Day 28: Sushi
I've tried vegetable sushi and cooked fish sushi from Morrisons before and loved it, though the vegetable one is my favourite. However, Mum went shopping in Lidl and accidentally picked me up some sushi that actually had raw salmon in it! I almost didn't try it but, for the sake of not wanting to waste food, I did. I actually couldn't tell which was the raw salmon and which was cooked! It really wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and I'm glad I got over the weirdness of raw fish and tried it anyway. Although I'll still be sticking to the veggie sushi from Morrisons...

Day 29: Krispy Kreme
I decided to treat the family to a 12 pack of Krispy Kreme donuts and ohh my life, so good. I think I had four in total. Absolutely no regrets.

Day 30: Bumble
I don't know why but I ended up signing up to Bumble, and Bumble BFF. It's a bit crap to be honest but at least I was swiping through some different people for once, rather than the same people over and over again on Tinder.
