Five by Thirty-Five | A Birthday Bucket List

After trying and -mostly- failing my 30 by 30 bucket list, I have decided to do it a little bit differently this time. After looking at these 30 goals I could have done over the last four years (some very realistically, some not so much) has definitely made me re-evaluate what is important to me and what isn't. 

August Vision Board

It's that time again! New month; new vision board! I actually love making these vision boards, it feels like a cute little hobby. Just in case you missed it, check out my July vision board.

Being More "Me" | Part 13

I have properly, officially decided that this is the year I become more "Me"! I'm turning 30 in 4 months and I want to become closer to my "final form" as it were. After finding lots of "alt" inspo on tiktok, I had an almost complete overhaul of my wardrobe. I took out everything that doesn't fit, I don't like anymore and just won't work with my chosen aesthetic. 

The colours in my wardrobe are now black, grey and white with a little bit of dark green and red. I also now have two corsets, some flowy sleeved tops and more witchy style dresses. I'm slowly falling in love with my wardrobe! Of course I still have the classic baggy t-shirts, jeans and leggings for work but I do wish I could be a bit more "dressy." Occasionally I'll dress up as much as I can get away with and I always get compliments when I do. 

As for my hair; I made a very last minute decision to do something very cool with it before the wedding! Josh said about 3 weeks before the wedding that I could have had a black dress. Thank you, but it's far too late to do anything about that now! I had been debating dyeing my hair black, so he suggested getting black and white hair. So that's what I did! Well, nearly. My moneypiece didn't make it to white with the limited timeframe we had but it did look very good and I'm super happy with it! 

When my roots started growing through, I was debating changing the moneypiece to a dark green but I decided would like to see it properly white or silver first. I have also decided to grow it out. No more bobs! Although the bobs do make my curls pop, I do prefer having a good amount of length to it. I got it redone last week and I'm absolutely obsessed with the result!

I'm really happy with how I'm looking these days, although there's always room for improvement! I have also decided to start getting my eyebrows waxed every six weeks, as it only costs £10 a time and I always feel much more "put together" after having them done. I'm feeling a piercing of some sort next...

A Letter to Myself on my 29th Birthday

Well, it's official! As of 6:01am I am now 29. Happy birthday to me! I still get mistaken for being 18/19 sometimes so that's good, right?

September Goals | Chapter 9 of 12

August has been really lovely! Not nearly as fun as I'd wanted but it's still been a really good month. My Mum made a comment last week. "Are you happier or are you just better at pretending that you are?" Wow. That's when it hit me that I haven't had a proper depressive episode for quite a few weeks! Obviously July had been a difficult month, but these last few weeks I've felt much better. I still have general life stresses but I have genuinely been so much happier lately. I feel good. 

Weekly Catch-up & Weekly Goals | Week 1

The first week of July is officially done! It's been a bit of a mixed bag to be honest. I've been really emotional, what with stress of wanting a new job but not finding anything, Charlie's birthday coming up and also my dearly departed dad's birthday this month too. It's hit me in the feels a lot earlier this month than it usually does, and I'm definitely struggling.

As I said in my Shein haul, I'm probably going to get judged for shopping on Temu as well but the bargains are just too hard to resist!

I know I'm going to get judged heavily for shopping from Shein but I just can't help it! High street shops just don't do it for me anymore. As the warmer weather is coming, I wanted some new spring/summer clothes but in my new alt. aesthetic. I'm officially done wearing clothes I don't like!

Pinky Creates Haul

Another day, another haul! Actually I don't think I've written a haul post for ages but I'm constantly buying. This time, I have added to my Pinky Creates Collection! I bought three pairs of earrings and I didn't even realise they're all the same colour theme but I absolutely love them.

Being More 'Me' | My Big Realisation

When I first started writing this post, it was going in a completely different direction. I felt like I was going through a type of crisis. I felt like a fraud writing these Being More 'Me' posts because I didn't know who I was, at all. Although, at the same time, that was kind of the point of these posts, to record the journey of figuring out who I am. Well, I'm pleased to say I do know who I am now.
