July Goals 2025

How on earth is it July already?! The year is absolutely flying by. It'll be 2026 before we know it! I wish I could say I've got lots to look forward to this month but unfortunately I'm working the majority of it. Although I am getting my hair redone which I'm very excited for. Charlie is turning 8 this month too! Crazy! Unfortunately it is his Dads turn to have him for his actual birthday but we are planning something nice for the weekend before.

Time to look at my goals! I really want to work on bettering myself and my mental/physical health this month. I've been following someones glow up journey on TikTok and I'm absolutely loving their content and taking in every tip they give out.

Stick to my Budget

I've been working hard on a budget for July and I'm determined to stick to it this time! I've got an awful lot to save up for/pay out for this year and my spending habits are not making it easy for me. I did actually set up a proper budget for July using the Emma app but by day two it was telling me I had exceeded my budget when I definitely haven't! So I cancelled that and am due a refund for the subscription any day now! Now I need to figure out a new way to track my budget...

Read (at least) One Book

Whether it be on my Kindle or a physical book, I don't mind but I really have been loving reading this year and I want to keep up my track record.

Exercise!

I've had an app on my phone called LazyFit for the majority of the year and I've still not even opened it yet to have a look, but I'm hoping July will be the one! I also want to try and go for more walks, especially on my days off. I have lost some weight lately and I'd like to keep it up!

Wake Up Earlier/Go to Sleep Earlier

I cannot get up in the morning for love nor money. I'm struggling with getting to sleep as well so naturally I'm going to struggle getting up. I'm aiming to get up at 7am every morning (except on my Sundays to work where I'm up at 5am) and apart from setting alarms every 10 minutes from 6am I don't really know how to make myself do it. I also have some "calm" tablets that are supposed to relax your mind which I want to start taking again.

Quit Vaping

I've been vaping for about 4-5 years now and I'm honestly sick of it. I'm also bored of paying £20-£25 a month for refills. I've currently got one refill left and I'm working on reducing how often I'm using it with the intention of quitting by the end of the month. Josh hates that I do it as well and has been trying to convince me to stop for months. So now I'm listening. Wish me luck! Advice is also welcome.

Less Screen Time

I did start putting my phone away regularly when Josh and I first got married but somehow I'm back in the routine of being on my phone morning-til-night and I want to stop and be more present. I'm also hoping it'll help me get to sleep!

I've got a lot to work on this month! Hopefully I'm not biting off more than I chew...

What are your goals for July? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,

Saph x
