June Recap & July Goals

I actually think June was such a lovely month! Definitely been at my happiest so far this year. I celebrated three birthdays, I've seen my family more than usual, I've started loosing a significant amount of weight and taking care of myself more. Josh and I are stronger and more loved up than ever. I also got my Steve tattoo which I'm absolutely thrilled with! He needs a top up at some point which I can get done for free within 6 months, so I need to not forget!

We've been making lots of changes to the house this month, we bought a smaller sofa and two armchairs which really opens up the room. We also made a small change in the bedroom, I got rid of my dressing table that I barely used and swapped it for the cute TV unit from the spare room and put the spare TV in our bedroom. It feels so good to lay in bed and watch TV again!

June Goals Recap

Keep up my Weight Training
I definitely did not do this, which I'm a bit annoyed at myself for but I have been doing more walking instead so at least I have been doing some form of exercise.

Read
I finally finished the Whispers in the Town book I started back in April! It took me so long to get into it but once I committed to reading it, I finished it in about a week. I absolutely loved it and was gutted it ended. I really don't know why it took me so long to get into it.

July Plans & Goals

It's Charlie's birthday at the end of the month! My tiny baby will be 6 and is having a proper party in a hall with his school friends. I'm so excited for him, although I can't believe how fast the years are going!

Health Goals
  1. Take vitamins daily
  2. Do some form of exercise daily
  3. Quit vaping
Personal Goals
  1. Theory Test Revision/Book Test
  2. Explore my Beliefs
July is the month for learning! I've decided I want to start prioritising driving again, so I have decided to book lessons and start revising for my theory test again. I haven't booked it yet, but I've checked out slots and there's tons going, so I'll probably book it when I start feeling confident I'll pass it!

For years, I identified as a Wiccan but this last year or so I have completely abandoned the practice. I would love to dive back into it all and learn where I stand in it all. I have begun to consider myself an Eclectic Pagan recently. It's time to get all my books back out and get back to learning and exploring!

Career Goals
I have decided to start looking for a new job. I do enjoy the job I do, but I would prefer different hours and the managers are starting to do my head in. More money would be a bonus too! I will miss some of my service users though. I wish more jobs had time off in the school holidays though, I hate being a working Mum while Charlie is young. I know I'm not the only one but I'm missing so much time with him!

What are your goals and plans for July? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
Saph x
