Diary Entry #6
Been a while since I last wrote one of these! Now Josh is back at work, I feel like I've got less to write about, but here goes nothing!
I finally got my little Steve eating! I had to take him to the vets and £62 later, he's finally eating cat food with a little bit of cat yogurt on top. He's so much happier now, finally putting on weight, got more energy and he purrs now!
My spending ban is...interesting. I have been buying a lot of things from my small business friends but I have also been staying away from the corner shop and buying less chocolate etc. so I'd say I'm winning. I also haven't been buying something from Amazon every five minutes either like I was last month -making the most of that prime free next day delivery trial.
My working out is going pretty well too, I'm still struggling to get into a proper routine with it but according to my tracker app I have been exercising more than I haven't so far this month! I have been taking progress pictures every two weeks, so I'm definitely seeing a difference there! I have also decided to give SlimFast shakes a go. I always really struggle with eating a proper breakfast - if any breakfast at all - and I figured that a (supposedly) healthy shake is better than no breakfast at all, especially if it helps me lose weight. I decided on the chunky chocolate flavour because I am a chocoholic and it's actually really nice! I have also had to buy some SlimFast snacks (arriving today!) because I have been so hungry just on shakes the last couple of days.
Josh and I finally finished Orange is the New Black and we're now watching Game of Thrones. He was absolutely obsessed with it, and this is his second time of trying to make me love it. I also have all the books, and I read the first one last year. One day I might get through it all.
I was feeling so stressed out yesterday. There's so much stuff that needs to be done in such a short amount of time and I just don't know how to get the ball rolling. Everything was going to plan before this damn virus came along, and now I feel like everything is completely up in the air again. I literally do not know what to do. But I distracted myself by having a declutter session and I felt so much better by the end of the day.
Today, I'm feeling really good so far. I'm ready for a really good day.
