Well, what can I say about May. A couple of weeks ago, I was sofa-bound for a few days because I was bitten by a mosquito, and I'm very allergic to them. Unfortunately, the bugger bit my ankle. I swelled up so much that walking was so painful, I literally had no choice but to lay down all day. It was a nice break, but also frustrating!
We also had our first family barbecue last weekend! It was so lovely to have (almost) everyone round, and the food was amazing.
May Goals
I feel like I actually did pretty well money-wise this month! I still did some unnecessary spending but it definitely feels like my money stretched further this month.
I did do a lot more exercise and can feel I've toned up in places a little! I definitely feel stronger as well. I also managed to lose 3lbs which I'm absolutely thrilled about! I aimed for 5lbs but after 3 weeks of losing nothing, to lose 3lbs all at once was an amazing feeling.
Josh has done tons of redecorating over the month, I can't wait to show you what's new! I've also done some little declutter sessions here and there throughout the month, but nothing major.
I'd like to say I had more fun this month. We went to my aunties 60th party and I got very drunk, which was fun. Josh and I also watched Eurovision for the first time together. I'm feeling a new yearly tradition!
June Goals
Keep up my Weight Training
I'm loving feeling stronger, so I really want to keep up with it this month.
Read One Book
Admittedly, I did read some self help books on my kindle in May, but I started a paperback a couple of months ago and I'd loved to pick that back up again.
I've been trying to think of another goal for ages now but I just can't think of one! So I think I'm going to take it easy this month and just see what happens. I'm booked in to finally get my Steve memorial tattoo this month, and my nieces turn 16 and 18 this month! I'm looking forward to a family get-together to celebrate.
