The plan on making myself feel more like 'me' is coming together! In my last Being More 'Me' post I was discussing my hair colour and had dyed my hair brown again. It didn't take long for the colour to fade back to orange again though! So I am officially giving up on brown and will stick with the Tangerine Twist - I do love it and it really suits me! It's just a pain having to colour my roots so often...
Last Monday, I finally got my hair cut again! I haven't had my hair cut since last Summer, and I only had a tiny bit of length off so it was getting really long and I had split ends for days. I decided it was time to go back to my signature bob. As I was in Folkestone for a family funeral anyway, I decided to book in with my mums mobile hairdresser so my hair was nice and tidy for it.
I decided to have a slightly longer bob this time as I need to be able to put my hair up for work and just got it shoulder length with long layers. I very nearly got a side undercut but I opted for curtain bangs instead! Maybe I'll get an undercut next time.
I absolutely love it and I feel so refreshed now my hair is short again! It was fun having long hair but I feel so much more comfortable with a shorter style. I've had so many compliments on it as well so I'm definitely feeling happy about going for a big chop again. Here's hoping I can keep it healthy this time and get regular trims!
