Daily Tasks for 14 Days

I haven't set myself some goals for a while, and it's been weird. #lockdownproblems. I had a flash of inspiration last night, and decided to set myself some daily tasks for the next fourteen days of May. I nearly waited and set them for June but...I need stuff to do now.

The tasks:
  • Drink 600ml of water every day
  • 14 day spending ban
  • Go for a walk every day
  • Research three tarot cards per day
  • Finish reading at least one more book
I have been super spendy lately and it's not ideal. Aside from my nieces birthdays coming up, I really need to go easy on the spending. I also want to try and gift back the people that were kind enough to buy me something from my Amazon wishlist next month, so I need to stop spending all my money on myself and Charlie!

I have been interested in tarot for as long as I can remember, and had a deck since last October, but I haven't really had a chance to learn about the card meanings yet. I have a book that explains them all, so I really want to spend some time dedicated to learning what each card means and getting used to my deck.

I'm finally on a roll with reading again, and finished two books over the weekend! I'm planning to start reading The Kept Woman by Karin Slaughter today, and would love to be able to finish it before the month ends. Normally I would be able to finish at least two books in two weeks but now I have some extra tasks to do, I might have less time for reading! I'm hoping to read a minimum of three chapters a day.

  1. These are all great goals, and pretty similar to mine. I'm on a spending ban as well, I have so many books I need to read.

    I've been learning more about tarot too, the Golden Tarot app has been helping!

  2. Finish reading a book has been on my goal list this month too. I started reading another book instead of finishing the 2 I was already reading so I don't think I'm going to finish any in the next 3 days now. x
