Today's the Day!

Today's the day; Charlie and I are off to spend a few weeks in Sheppey!
I'm so excited, for many reasons. I'm going to be going swimming virtually every day, and bought myself a gorgeous new swimming costume especially, I'm also going to be going on lots of long walks past the canal, which is always my favourite part of going to Sheppey!

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, but I don't feel anxious in Sheppey at all. Although, saying that, I rarely feel anxious about anything these days, but I do still get bouts of it, especially when I'm going to town for the day. However, in Sheppey I've only ever felt anxious ONCE and that was when we went down to the Clubhouse to watch England play in the World Cup. As soon as the door opened, all I could see was a gang of men, shouting at the telly. I hated trying to push through them but once I got to our quiet(er) corner I was okay, and the people weren't nearly as rowdy as I expected them to be!

As for the actual town itself, it's only a twenty minute walk and it's impossible to get lost. I don't really like the layout of the town but it's not really a big deal.

As well as walking and swimming, I'm planning to get lots of reading and writing done too. I've also got a lot of thinking to do. I'm questioning pretty much everything at the moment, so while I'm away from home, I need to clear my head a bit and make some decisions about things. I'm hoping to come back with a clearer idea of what I want, and where I want to be. Wish me luck!

As always, being in Sheppey means incredibly limited WiFi, so I won't be able to update my blog, twitter, or Instagram as much as I would like to! You'll probably see the odd tweet from me, but on the whole, the next three weeks will be social media free. Much needed too, I should think!

There's a new post tomorrow, but for now, adios, auf wiedersehen, and au revoir. See you in three weeks!

P.S. Sorry if this post is a complete mess; I've had to post it on the blogger app while in the car! My laptop wasn't working fast enough for me to do it at home!
