Remembering Reykjavik with Juniper Daze Designs*

I love travelling. Going somewhere new and discovering beautiful places totally different to what you're used to, there's nothing better. My favourite holiday by far was Reykjavik, Iceland. Iceland had been on my travel wishlist for years before I finally went in 2015 and I fell in love with the place. It was completely breathtaking: from the views to the bitterly cold wind!

I had recently been on the hunt for some nice new coasters to go with our home refurb but nothing really caught my eye. So, when Juniper Daze Designs got in touch I just couldn't say no!

Juniper Daze Designs is a homeware design shop, mainly focusing on mapwork and was inspired by her own wedding! I totally fell for the heart-shaped coasters and just knew I had to get Reykjavik printed on them. Reykjavik holds a special place in my heart as it's one of my favourite places, and was one of the last holidays my Dad was able to go on before he passed away!

When they arrived I was totally blown away: they were gorgeous! I was given four different designs, each one more lovely than the last. I loved looking at the street map ones; trying to see if I could recognise any streets I'd walked down or landmarks I'd seen. I was pleased to see Hallsgrimskirkja was on one of them! I'm extremely happy with my coasters; they're a lovely, quirky reminder of one of my best holidays.

Steph - the lady behind Juniper Daze Designs - is absolutely wonderful as well. I definitely recommend her lovely little shop if you're looking for unique gifts, or something to brighten up your home, that's also a special reminder of a place you love.

  1. These are absolutely adorable! I love map things (I have a map tshirt, and a few notepads lmao) If I had the money I'd be making a purchase in a heartbeat!
