Highlights of 2025

Over the course of the year, I have been making a point of listing every fun/good thing we've got up to this year! I recently read it out to Josh and he had forgotten about most of it! We've actually done so much this year and it's so nice to actually see it all in one place. Obviously I've only added what solely I have done, and what we have done together - if I included everything Josh did without me the list would be a lot longer!

A Week in Machynlleth | Our Honeymoon

We had to wait a whole 3 months for our honeymoon but it was the most perfect week, so I'm not too mad about it. I was determined to have a cabin with a hot tub and I particularly wanted to go to Scotland but finding the right area at a good price was way harder than we anticipated! So we ended up settling for Wales. Well, I say settling, we do actually love Wales. I didn't get my hot tub though! Fuming. 

The Beginning of Our Happily Ever After

Today marks 3 months since Josh and I got married! I'm no longer a miss and have upgraded to a full time Mrs. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. Well, actually, that's a lie. But there isn't much at all I would change. I wanted to publish this post a long time ago but unfortunately we did have to wait seven weeks for our professional photos to come back, and then I just kept forgetting about this post.

Before We Say I do | Our Engagement Photos

Does it feel a bit pointless posting our engagement photos now, as they were done a long time ago? A little bit. Am I going to do it anyway because they're gorgeous? Obviously.

Llyn Mair | Photo Diary

As well as Swallow Falls, we also checked out Llyn Mair. It was around 5pm at this time and the lighting was absolutely perfect for photos.

Day three was lots of shopping, then we found Swallow Falls. It was £2 per person to get in - no idea why - but it was lovely.

Another day, another trek! Day two, we decided to check out Aber Falls which meant another uphill walk. Thankfully this one only took an hour.

Mount Snowdon | Photo Diary

I'm still in shock that we climbed Snowdon on our first full day of the holiday but at the same time, it's just as well we did because that was the best weather for it! I unfortunately did not make it to the summit but the family said it was the clearest view they've ever had!

A Week in Wales | A Page in Our Adventure Book

Our first holiday in over a year was a bloody good one. We decided to do a family holiday in Wales, with Josh, Charlie, Josh's younger brother and sister, and their dad. We stayed in the Beddgelart camp site for a week and it was bloody beautiful. Our camp was right on a fast flowing river and it was so lovely to fall asleep listening to it.

Pumpkin Picking '23 | Photo Diary

We picked the best day for pumpkin picking! We went quite late in the day, it was sunny and lovely and warm. As always, we went to the Pumpkin Moon farm in Rainham. They really stepped it up this year, with a graveyard, skeletons and photo ops!
