It's nearly 2020! The last two months have been amazing. I have spent loads of time with family (mostly Josh's, but family nonetheless!) had a great Christmas, watched a majority of the films on our Christmas film bucket list, went on a much-needed woodsy walk, and definitely lost weight! 2019 is ending on a high note.
I had some very specific goals I wanted to achieve for the last two months of 2019; how do you think I did?
Have Another Clear Out
I literally spent the entire lead up to Christmas piling up items I no longer wanted or needed in a box, to then bag up and donate to charity shops. Over the course of six weeks, I have donated/recycled around 100+ items including clothes, DVDs, shoes, toys and some homeware.
Add to Charlie's scrapbook
I'm so annoyed with myself for letting another year pass and I haven't managed to do anything with the scrapbook yet! Next year I will do it!
Read 3 Books
I did it! I swapped my last book (Then She Was Gone, Lisa Jewell) for a smaller book (Puppet Master) to make sure that I could finish my third/thirtieth book of 2019.
Create Something
This is probably the one I wanted to do most - after decluttering - but I just didn't have a clue what to make! Plus between Christmas shopping and being unwell, I didn't really have the time or energy to make something. Maybe next year!
2019 has been very good to me in general - even with an anxiety wobble in November. I have been able to look back on the year and actually smile about all the good things that has come my way. Sure, I still want to cry, but for the first time in years, they're happy tears. Just seeing how much I accomplished in the last few weeks of the year has made me really proud of myself.
How has 2019 been for you?
Until next time,
Saph x
