August had a fair amount of ups and downs. I've lost a friendship or two but honestly, I've made my peace with it. I also nearly quit my job, twice. On the plus-side, our honeymoon was incredible! I'll do a post specially for it this month.
I am so ready for a fresh start this month. Feel like I need to dust off some cobwebs, and maybe sage myself! I am officially booked in for my first driving lesson at the end of this week and I am unbelievably excited! I did want to go back to the instructor I used last year but he took too long to respond so Josh got in contact with his mate who is now an instructor. I'm nervous about going to a different person but Josh has nothing but compliments for this guy (which is incredibly rare for Josh) so hopefully we get on!Update Everything with my New Surname!
I've been putting off applying for a new passport (£95 for a tiny book, hello??) but I finally did it last month! So as soon as it comes I'll be updating absolutely everything and I cannot wait to finally have my new name everywhere - not just on Facebook!
Date Night
After such a lovely honeymoon I really want to keep up the quality time and plan a date night or two! Although technically it is Josh's turn to plan date night...
Do Some Photoshoots
I do actually have a photoshoot booked for this month which I'm equally excited for and equally shitting a brick about! I bought some backdrops and I'd love the opportunity to use them for other shoots too.
No Spend September
Honestly I only got paid just over a week ago and my bank account is struggling already. Tbf though a lot did go into savings but food shopping takes most of my money! I just can't figure out how to spend less on groceries because I try and then end up doing a £20-£30 top up shop a couple days later because "we have nothing to eat!" I just can't figure it out. Honestly I don't even know where I can save money/reduce spending in September but I'll figure it out.
What are your goals for September?
