Healing Takes Time, Coralle Skye | Book Review

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have only gotten into poetry over the last year or two, I hated studying it at school! But lately, more and more of the people I follow on social media have been sharing amazing poetry that I can actually understand and relate to. So when the chance came up to read and review Healing Takes Time, I jumped at it.

Healing Takes Time is a beautiful poetry and prose collection that explores pain, loss and healing. It's definitely a book for those who are struggling, especially with heartbreak.

I honestly fell in love with it straight away. I related to 99% of the collection and I love that some of the works send a strong message that things do and will get better. Rainbow and Perhaps are good examples of this:

There is so much emotion in this collection and I felt every single one. Even though I can't relate to Losing You my heart absolutely broke reading it. I love the whole book, but Pages, Rise Up, Never Again and Sunlight are my favourites.

I would 100% recommend this book to everyone, Coralle is a lovely writer, and I can't wait for her next book.

Until next time,
Saph x
