Hastings | Photo Diary

Friday was the last day of paid holiday fun and we had arranged to meet my Mum and stepdad in Hastings. Mum and Dave absolutely love Hastings and it only seemed right to have a day trip there with them!

We ended up going to the RNLI lifeboat centre and learned all about what they do and Charlie even got to try on their uniform and have a picture with the lifeboat! He wasn't very happy about it, but it had to be done.

After checking out the shops, we headed to the lift, took a walk across the cliff and headed to the Smuggler's Cave. We've never done it before, and took a long time to debate whether to do it or not once we saw the price. £60 later, we were in.

The caves were actually really good! It was a lot more fun and interesting than we were expecting, and we were all glad we decided to go in the end.

After the caves, we went back down to the beach. everyone else headed to the arcades but I'd promised Charlie a game of adventure golf. Charlie did so well and even got a hole-in-one twice!

Hastings is always a great day out and it was so lovely to spend time with my Mum - even though she and Dave kept wandering off without us!
