So...I may have made a cheeky Shein order. I know, I know, don't judge me. However, I had previously been looking on Amazon and New Look so technically I have saved money here, and got more useful items! Get ready for the girl math at the end!
What I Ordered
Wrapping paper storage bag £2.86
We have tons of loose wrapping paper laying about and it's driving me crazy. I did buy a bag already this year but it mysteriously disappeared before I got to put the paper in it. Fuming. I kept nearly getting the £7 one with compartments as it was advertised as £2 but luckily I caught the price hike!
Planner inserts for 2026 £5.04
This is the only one that the price of makes me cringe but it's 180 sheets/360 pages and appears to be worth it!
Burgundy tracksuit £13.18
I nearly ordered just a long sleeved tee from New Look for £13.49! Admittedly the quality would be better but I had been eyeing up the tracksuit for a few weeks before I bought it.
Lipstick holder £1.58
For my lip balm at work to go on my lanyard as my lips have been so dry lately. I don't always have pockets on my outfits and I can't always access my bag easily, so adding this to my lanyard will be so handy.
Pen holder £1
Also to go on my work lanyard as I'm always forgetting a pen and they're like gold dust at work!

£3.59 from New Look for one! Admittedly I didn't need two as I already have a brown one but I wanted a black one and it was more cost-effective to get the 2 pack of black and brown.

I have a magnetic calendar for Charlie on my fridge but I haven't used it for a year as our darling dog chewed them all up as a pup, and I want to use it again!
Heat resistant mat for hair styling tools £1.23
£4.39 on Amazon! Can't believe I nearly paid that much.
Eyelash wand 45p
I'm actually going to use it to brush and trim my eyebrows between waxing appointments.
200 hairbands 80p
£3.89 on Amazon for 50! That's a ridiculous price for so few and I'm glad I shopped around.

£3.59 for one pair from New Look! I've noticed my shein tights last way better than high street ones too. I mainly wear brown in the autumn so these should last me a while!

Nearly double the items for just under £10 less? I don't know about you but I'm pretty happy with that. There was plenty more I could have ordered but I was trying to be sensible. Also, due to making this order, I cancelled my next flower delivery which would have cost me £34. I'm a bit sad about it as they were going to be beautiful but I'll take useful items over dying flowers any day.
