Hello June

Wheewww this year really is just flying by isn't it?! This month is rather exciting because I am currently staying at my Mums house with Charlie! We're only staying until the weekend but it's so lovely to be here again, especially now the weather is nice and we can get out and do things!

I'm really excited to spend some time with my sisters, nieces and nephew too, though I am sad to be without Josh for a few days. Although it is nice to have a double bed to myself...

We also have two zoo trips planned for this week, one to Wildwood and one to Wingham. I haven't been to either in such a long time, I can't wait. I'm just hoping Charlie enjoys it more than the last time we went to a zoo!

Yesterday, me and Josh went to the Kent Garden Show with some of our family. Neither of us had been before so it was really nice to go somewhere different. I honestly thought it was literally just going to be plants and flowers but no, there were statues, wall hangings, garden furniture...if we had our own house, we easily could have spent a fortune.

In the end, Josh bought a gorgeous wood candle holder and he bought me the cutest tiny wooden elephant! The only downside to the day was that I decided wearing heeled sandals was a good idea...I felt pretty in those and my dress but damn did walking around for three hours hurt my feet!

Saturday was our first child-free day of the three days Charlie was with his Dad, and we spent the evening getting hot dogs and then went to the brand new cinema that had opened just the night before! It was absolutely incredible, the new venue is gorgeous and has a restaurant, arcade and a bowling alley! I feel like we're going to spend a lot of weekends there now.

We watched The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and it was so good! We love The Conjuring films. But the best part was the seats. We got a reclining love seat and O.M.G it was so comfortable! It was so lovely being able to cuddle up and put our feet up - definitely better than being squished in your seat in any other cinema!

I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed by my goals from last month. I actually didn't do too badly with them, but I feel like I just want a month where I don't need to worry about hitting any goals. I feel like June needs to be a go-with-the-flow kind of month. So, for the first time in a long time, I have no goals to share with you!

Do you have any goals for June? What about plans? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
Saph x
