'Tis The Season!
It's nearly that time of year again. Over the last few years I have really dreaded Christmas. I even wrote about it last year, and how I was struggling to get into the Christmas spirit. Pretty much all year long, I've been wanting to skip over Christmas, and cringing every time my boyfriend gets excited about it. Now that it's getting closer, however, I'm actually glad it's nearly Christmas?!
Things are a lot different this year. I'm the happiest I have been in years, I have an amazing boyfriend, I have future in-laws that I'm excited to celebrate with, and I have even invested in a Christmas jumper. Next weekend, my sisters, nieces and brother in law are visiting and coming for an early Christmas dinner and present swap. This is the only time we're seeing each other over Christmas which is a little sad but I'm still looking forward to it! We're all supposed to be wearing Christmas jumpers and I have secretly bought myself, Charlie and Josh one to wear. Josh has no idea and I'm going to be disguising his as an early birthday present for him to open that morning! I'm pretty excited for the reveal to be honest.
We're also planning on going to a couple of Christmas markets in December. We did go to one in Sittingbourne this month, and we're going the Sheerness lights turn on and parade tomorrow! We'll also be putting Christmas decorations up in the caravan and I'm surprisingly excited for it. I'm quite intrigued to see what Josh will do with the place, and hopefully I won't have Stranger Things vibes like last year!
I'm also very happy to announce that my sister is pregnant (you may have seen on my Instagram story!), and she should be revealing the gender sometime over Christmas! I'm so excited to find out if I'm getting another niece or my first nephew - I'm dying to start buying baby clothes!
What are you looking forward to this Christmas?
Until next time,
