Llyn Mair | Photo Diary

As well as Swallow Falls, we also checked out Llyn Mair. It was around 5pm at this time and the lighting was absolutely perfect for photos.

Swallow Falls | Photo Diary

Day three was lots of shopping, then we found Swallow Falls. It was £2 per person to get in - no idea why - but it was lovely.

Aber Falls | Photo Diary

Another day, another trek! Day two, we decided to check out Aber Falls which meant another uphill walk. Thankfully this one only took an hour.

Mount Snowdon | Photo Diary

I'm still in shock that we climbed Snowdon on our first full day of the holiday but at the same time, it's just as well we did because that was the best weather for it! I unfortunately did not make it to the summit but the family said it was the clearest view they've ever had!

A Week in Wales | A Page in Our Adventure Book

Our first holiday in over a year was a bloody good one. We decided to do a family holiday in Wales, with Josh, Charlie, Josh's younger brother and sister, and their dad. We stayed in the Beddgelart camp site for a week and it was bloody beautiful. Our camp was right on a fast flowing river and it was so lovely to fall asleep listening to it.

Pumpkin Picking '23 | Photo Diary

We picked the best day for pumpkin picking! We went quite late in the day, it was sunny and lovely and warm. As always, we went to the Pumpkin Moon farm in Rainham. They really stepped it up this year, with a graveyard, skeletons and photo ops!

Hastings | Photo Diary

Friday was the last day of paid holiday fun and we had arranged to meet my Mum and stepdad in Hastings. Mum and Dave absolutely love Hastings and it only seemed right to have a day trip there with them!

Diggerland | Photo Diary

Day four was a trip to Diggerland! We were so excited for this trip as we figured it would be more suitable for Charlie than anything else we've done so far.

Chessington World of Adventures | Photo Diary

Day two was a chilled day at home, shopping, cleaning, gaming etc. Day three was a day at Chessington World of Adventures! Once again, Josh's brother came with us but I won't include him in the photos.

Leeds Castle | Photo Diary

Day one of annual leave meant finally taking a trip to Leeds Castle! It's only taken us four years to go...It was the most gorgeous, perfect day for it though! We also went with Josh's brother but for privacy, I haven't included him in any photos.

We Bought a House!

We did it! We finally bought a house! I honestly never expected this one to be one of my top five items I tick off my 30 by 30 bucket list but my amazing fiancé made it happen. We are officially homeowners at the ages of 26 and 24. Who would have thought it?

Camping in Devon | Photo Diary

I have officially been camping! As an adult anyway, I'm sure I went camping as a child but I don't remember it...either way, it's one more thing ticked off my 30 by 30 bucket list!

Josh, Charlie and I went camping with Josh's mum, stepdad, 3 of Josh's siblings and their partners. We stayed in Totnes, Devon at ..... We left at 6:30am which was a bit of shock to mine and Charlie's system! How we both stayed awake during the 4 hour trip I do not know. It was a bit disappointing when we got there, as Josh's idea of camping is in the middle of the woods. That being said, it wasn't a terrible place to camp, and it was definitely family friendly.

Four Ideas for Quality Time with Your Family

In daily life, one must balance a number of competing priorities, such as work, school, and extracurricular activities outside of school hours. Finding the time to hang out with the people who are important to you might be challenging at times. It's an opportunity to spend some quality time together as a family without being distracted by ringing phones, glaring screens, or the need to wrap up some unfinished business at the very last minute. When was the last time you and your family did anything enjoyable together as a unit? The summer break is the ideal time for families to spend quality time together and take pleasure in each other's presence. You'll find some suggestions for activities that are suitable for the whole family and will bring you closer together in the following paragraphs.

Legoland Photo Diary

I finally got to take my boys to Legoland! I paid for myself, Josh and Charlie to stay overnight in the Legoland hotel. It was blimming expensive, but well worth it in my opinion! We set off much later than we expected on the Saturday, and got stuck in traffic. An hours drive turned into three hours and I for one was so glad I'd booked us in overnight.

My First Glamping Holiday

It's official! I can now tick "go glamping" off my 30 by 30 bucket list! I've just come back from a 3 night stay in the Wheatfields Luxury Glamping with Josh, Charlie, my mum, stepdad, two older sisters, brother-in-law, two nieces, my nephew and three dogs! Whew, lucky there were three tents, eh?

A Secret Engagement: One Year On | Blogmas 2021

As of today, Josh and I have now been engaged for one year and one month. That has really flown by! We have been through many ups and downs over the last year - I didn't even think we were going to make it to a whole year of being engaged recently - but we're still very much in love and working our way through any obstacles that come our way. We are both completely rubbish at communicating effectively and it's definitely something we're focusing on getting better at together. Even though we're coming up to being partners for three years, we need to remember our relationship is still very young yet and we've still got a lot to learn about each other!

Top 6 Things to do in Kent

As much as I am the kind of person who loves doing nothing, I also really love going out and doing things. As long as it's my idea...

I am Kentish born and bred and I love that I don't have to go far from home to find something fun to do. I am also the kind of person who doesn't mind going to the same places over and over - although I love new things too - and these are my personal favourite Top Six Things to do in Kent.

My Travel Wishlist | Blogmas 2021

I haven't had a proper holiday in years. Well, okay so I went to Center Parcs in 2020 but a resort like that isn't the kind of holiday I mean! I keep hearing about people going on holiday and I am suffering from some serious envy and wanderlust. So, in no particular order, here are some of the places I am absolutely desperate to go to ASAP.

An Autumn Walk in Cromers Wood | Blogmas 2021

A couple weekends ago I was feeling particularly bored. I'd been up since 7 or 7:30 that morning, had done loads of things and come lunchtime, I was crying of boredom. Josh had been playing Call of Duty all morning, so I decided to convince him to come for a walk with me and Charlie once he'd next died or whatever happens in C.O.D. Thankfully he agreed, and we set off to Cromers Wood.

Pumpkin Picking & Face Painting

It's officially spooky season! It's been two years or so since we last took Charlie pumpkin picking so I was determined to go this year. We also went with Joshs sister, her fiancé, Josh's brother, Mum and step dad. It was so lovely to go with most of the family this time! Although I haven't included their faces in the photos for their privacy.
