MyProtein Review

It's been just over a month now since I shared my MyProtein Haul. I promised a review so here it is. Although it's more of a first impressions to be honest.

The Body Shop Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Care Review

Late last year, I treated myself to the brand new hair care range for curly girls from The Body Shop. I've spent the last few months giving it a try and now it's review time!

Dream Fights | Poetry Review

AD|Gifted. It's only over the last couple of years that I've started to get into poetry and feel like I could somewhat understand it. The Seeker offered me a copy of their poetry in exchange for a review - I couldn't say no! I love discovering more poets.

Stamp 'N Stick - Perfect for Back to School!

AD | Gifted. It's nearly time for the kids to return to school and you know what that means - time to name all the new school uniform! Always a fun job. Thankfully, Trodat kindly gifted me their Stamp 'N Stick kit, aptly called the FUNctional way to mark all belongings!

Small Business Haul

Lately I have been trying really hard to support small businesses! It's always so tempting to go onto ASOS or Boohoo for their deals, but sometimes it's nice to shop small. I always send Josh links to some of my favourite small businesses when it's time to buy each other gifts.

Clever Fox Budget Planner

My lovely friend Gracie kindly gifted me the Clever Fox Budget Planner from my Amazon wishlist! I couldn't believe it when it arrived, I so wasn't expecting it! I've been trying to sort out my finances for a while now, and trying to become minimalist and live sustainably/frugally. Not easy when you've got a tiny income and a child you want to spoil!

What's Love Got To Do With It?! | Book Review

Ad/Gifted in return for an honest review.

You know me and how much I love reading. I'm always on the prowl for a new book to read - the creepier the better! So obviously I snapped up the chance to review a brand new book! What's Love Got To Do With It?! is a "collection of short love stories without the happy ending." Sounds like my kind of book.

All By Myself, Alone | Book Review #2

What's this? Another book review? Good! I decided last month that I really wanted to start doing more bookish blog posts, and what's more bookish than a book review?! Last month I reviewed Angels Can't Swim, a novella by Alexandra McCann. This months book is All By Myself, Alone by Mary Higgins Clark.

Angels Can't Swim | Novella Review

One of my goals for 2018 is to read more. My current Goodreads goal is 12 but as I keep buying more books, I'm sure I'll soon smash that and up it. I've actually been considering making my blog more book-y, and start reviewing them. So imagine how I felt when Alexandra McCann, an author, dropped me an email asking me to review her new novella. Of course I said yes, and delved straight into Angels Can't Swim.

Old English Company Haul*

Even though I'm trying to be a minimalist, there's just a few things I can't resist adding to my collection. Homeware, prints and stationery to name but a few. When The Old English Company* got in touch, I trawled their website for hours, adding things to my basket and whittling them down one by one to my final favourite products. It was probably the hardest thing I've done in a long time.

LETSCOM Fitness Tracker

The last couple of months I have been obsessed with tracking my daily steps. Normally I use my phone and Google fit to do this, but it became a bit of a pain if I forgot to pick my phone up before I started walking, or my outfit didn't have a pocket to put it in. I did consider getting a fitbit, but as I'd just paid out £200 for a car seat, I couldn't afford another £200+ for one of those. That's when Erin came to my rescue.

nspa Your Special Time - First Impressions

During pregnancy it's recommended that you get yourself some "specially formulated" products to keep you looking and feeling fab - any excuse for a pamper, right? There's tons of choices out there and after a lot of umming and ahhing I finally decided on the nspa Mum-to-be gift pack. Mostly because it seemed to be the most cost-effective option.

Lets Talk About Breasts - Real Talk with ThirdLove*

You know what we don't talk about enough? Boobs. Specifically, the changes breasts go through during pregnancy, breastfeeding and post-nursing. It turns out that August is National Breastfeeding Month and I just had to write a post in honour of it.

5 Gifts For The Mum-To-Be*

As a Mum to Be I thought I would be showered with gifts a bit more than I was. Pregnancy is hard, both physically and mentally, and I wouldn't have said no to a gift every now and then! Maybe I'm just being selfish but I'm willing to bet there are other Mums out there that thought the same thing!

Remembering Reykjavik with Juniper Daze Designs*

I love travelling. Going somewhere new and discovering beautiful places totally different to what you're used to, there's nothing better. My favourite holiday by far was Reykjavik, Iceland. Iceland had been on my travel wishlist for years before I finally went in 2015 and I fell in love with the place. It was completely breathtaking: from the views to the bitterly cold wind!

Make Your Feet Beautiful Again with SockShop*

As someone who does a lot of walking (pre-pregnancy, anyway) and usually in the wrong kind of shoes, I have pretty much always suffered with hard/dry skin on the heels of my feet. I have tried various heel balms and moisturisers but nothing ever really seemed to fix it. So when I was offered the chance to test out some socks specifically for this problem: I was too intrigued to say no.

Going Loco for Coco

I've never really been one to make much effort with my hair care. I get it cut about once a year, brush it every now and then, and the only products I use on it is shampoo and conditioner. But lately, that's started to change.
