April TBR

Another month, another three books to read! I'm loving having a set amount of books to read each month, if I can keep it up, I should smash my 2020 reading goal in no time at all!

And then it Happened Linda Green
How would you feel if the only man you'd ever loved was taken away from you? And imagine how he'd feel if he hadn't really been taken away at all - but couldn't find a way to let you know...
Mel Taylor was thirteen years old when she found her Mr Right. Twenty years on they remain blissfully in love. She has the man she adores, a gorgeous daughter, a great job and a dream home. But Mel's seemingly perfect life is spoilt but a dark secret and a niggling fear that her good fortune can't last for ever. Despite her husband Adam telling her to live for the present and stop worrying about the future, Mel can't shake the feeling that someone is about to call time on their happiness.
And then it happens...

Why Mummy Doesn't Give a F@#k! Gill Sims
Mummy dreams of a quirky rural cottage with roses around the door and chatty chickens in the garden. But life, as ever, is not going quite as she planned. Paco, Oxo and Bisto turn our to be highly rambunctious, rather than merely chatty, and the roses have jaggy thorns.
And now bee precious moppets have transferred into giant teenagers. Instead of wittering at her about who would win in a fight - a dragon badger or a ninja horse? - they are Snapchatting the night away, stropping around the tiny cottage and communicating exclusively in grunts.
Can Mummy find that one happy moment just for her, now she has relocated her pelvic floor?
And can she finally find a way to give zero f*cks?

I got this one for Mother's Day and I'm honestly so excited to read it.

Baby Doll Hollie Overton
You've been held captive in one room.
You've been mentally and physically abused every day since you were sixteen years old.
Then, one night, you realise your captor has left the door to your cell unlocked.
For the first time in eight years you're free.
This is what happens next...

My picks this month sound so good, I can't wait to get stuck in!

What are you aiming to read this month?

Until next time,
Saph x
