My Daily Skincare Routine for Sensitive Skin

Before we start, I just want to make it clear that I have always had good skin. I have never had more than three spots at a time (knock on wood), I don't know what pores are or look like, and I haven't had blackheads for a really long time. If you're looking for a miracle skincare routine to solve all of your problems, this probably isn't the place for you! But these are still amazing products, so feel free to stick around anyway. P.S. Apologies for the horrendous photos, but you should all know by now that blog photography is not my forte.

Cleansers
I use three different cleansing items, depending on a few different things. For example, for my evening skincare routine, I use Superdrug's wipes, to remove my makeup and wipe away the day. They do the job, and at 99p are an absolute bargain and kind to my skin.

I don't shower every day (unless I swim or workout) and I don't fancy soaking myself or my bathroom by trying to wash my face over the sink. But, when I do shower, I use my Arbonne Calm daily cleanser for sensitive skin.

It's not exfoliating, and it's not quite a gel either, but it's literally the best cleanser I've ever used in my life. My skin feels so clean and renewed every time I use it! A few of its main ingredients are aloe vera, cucumber and Japanese green tea. No wonder it feels so good!

In the morning, I use Lacura charcoal wipes from Aldi, £1.49. These aren't as 'wet' as some facial wipes can be, but they leave me so refreshed and ready for the day! They don't really remove makeup, hence why I use them only in the morning when I'm not wearing any.

Calm Soothing Facial Serum
Another Arbonne product! You'll see a theme here. A few months ago I treated myself to the full Calm skincare range from Arbonne, after being sent a sample and falling in love with it. I love the serum, it hydrates just as well as the moisturiser! I usually have my shower too hot which leaves my face feeling pretty dried out, so applying some of this soothes and rehydrates my skin almost instantly!

Gentle Daily Moisturiser
My holy grail. Arbonne moisturiser for sensitive skin. This is my second bottle of it and I'm still completely in love with it. It doesn't leave me feeling sticky or greasy and again, is the best moisturiser I have ever used. Before I discovered Arbonne, I used Superdrugs skincare set and thought that was the best range ever. It doesn't even compare now! Applying this after the serum really locks in the hydration, and leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft.

Soothing Eye Gel
Last Arbonne product, I promise! This stuff is the bomb after a few sleepless nights or a rotten cold. The hydrating gel combined with the cool roller ball refreshes and reduces the appearance of puffy eyes, and leaves my eyes looking glowy and rested - no matter how crap I actually feel!

All of these products are certified cruelty-free, and all bar the Lacura* wipes are certified vegan. Arbonne products are also gluten free!

Although the Arbonne range is much more expensive than I would like to pay, it really is worth it. I don't really want to have to find an alternative, as nothing is going to match up! I love how well the cheaper face wipes compliment the Calm set, as it makes me feel a little less guilty for splurging so much!

*after a bit more Googling, I have found out that Aldi do sell in China. We all know how we feel about that.

  1. I love that you use super drug own and Aldi own, they are super products, cheap and really underrated :)
