5 Ways to Clear Your Mind, Home and Body of Negativity*

Your life is flashing before you like a complete whirlwind at the moment; you never get a chance to just stop and breathe for a few minutes. Whether you’re rushed off your feet at work or entangled in a relationship dilemma there are so many reasons for you to feel slightly stressed out right now. If you could just make a few small alterations to your day to day life, you could go to bed feeling like a much calmer and more positive person. It’s time to find peace and harmony at last, whether you’re trying to create new home happiness or you want to improve your mindset. 1.Declutter the Junk

When your home is cluttered up with unnecessary junk your mindset will be all over the place. Whether you’ve just moved into your new house or you’re trying to get over a previous relationship there are bound to be items all over your house that you really don’t need anymore. Look at the options at and you will be able to clear away the items that you don’t need urgently. Once you’re home is a little more minimalistic you will be able to focus on creating your positive mindset.

2. Rearrange Your Furniture

Another useful change you could make to your home is a quick shake up of your furniture. This will give the illusion of a brand new start at home so that you can slowly start to think positively again. Whether it’s switching around your bed or moving a sofa to the other side of the room, any small change will make a difference.

3. Exercise More

If you want to feel better about yourself you need to start moving your body more. Even if you can just go out walking for half an hour a day this will lift your mood instantly.

4. Prioritise Your Sleep

When you don’t get enough sleep your body starts to punish you in strange ways, so make sure you are getting a full eight to ten hours of shut eye each night. Read a book, invest in scented incense sticks or drink a hot green tea to help you drift off to sleep more easily.

5. Practice Mindfulness

Try to put your mobile phone down for at least a couple of hours each day. Being glued to social media and constantly checking your work emails won’t help you to adjust your mindset. Take in the world around you and appreciate all of the little things that you have to be grateful for.

Sometimes it’s very difficult to take a moment for yourself and realise how lucky you are. Whether you have a beautiful home or a fabulous career ahead of you, never forget how much you have already achieved in your life.
